Important Note: Your contract may need to be updated, if your service offerings expand (for example, the addition of mental health, substance use disorder (SUD) services, home infusion accreditation received or durable medical equipment (DME) to your practice). UCare to Roll Out New Member ID Card Design
Beginning Aug. 1, 2020, UCare will introduce a new member ID card design for all products that will be issued for members who join UCare or seek a replacement ID card during the remainder of this year.

Change in Frequency for Outpatient Hospital Fee Schedule Updates
Jan. 1, 2021, the UCare MHCP Outpatient Fee Schedule will be updated twice per year (January and July MHCP files). The fee schedule was previously updated on an annual basis.

Changes to the Payment and Remittance Selection Process
Effective immediately, UCare is changing the process to request updates to the provider’s payment and remittance selections.

2021 Code and Editing Updates
New codes have been identified for 2021 and will be accepted into the UCare system as of the effective dates but are subject to the editing update and implementation dates.
